Self- Centered

The blind can't see, so they fall and get hurt. Similarly, when a person's heart is high, the other person's heart cannot be seen. They are indulging in self-fulfillment and are immersed in themselves.

 

It was very embarrassing for my mother and younger sister to be apathetic. “Why did you call?” These are always the first words my mother says when she closes her heart off. These few words put a lot of stress on me. Plus, my sister doesn't answer my calls, and she doesn't respond to my text messages either. My weakness is that I become stressed by the other person's non-response. If it's someone else, it's fine, but it's really hard for my family to treat me like this. Through this work, I took a closer look at myself. There was so much to say. My story is true, but my sister had a hard time accepting it because of her children’s treatment of her. But how did it feel when my son spoke about filial piety? Even if I'm old, I just have to go to a job that I won’t retire from and work to the best of my ability. The situation is very different in Korea. I do not tell my mother about my difficulties and difficult situations. As I said, it doesn't help anything, and it just makes my mom worry. But she seems to have misunderstood me. I live in the United States, which is a rich country. My mother lives alone, and I don't look after my relatives. I told my mother, who worries, not to worry about my monthly income.

 

It's not about whether my story is true or not, but if the other person was hurt and closed their heart after hearing my story; that was the problem. The Bible says that pride is the vanguard of destruction. If your heart is self centered, your relationship will be ruined.
